ZOOLOGIST Pictures of Snakes and Bearded Dragons:

Firefighter Jaks captured this baby rattle snake in 2008 just inches from a firefighter (cadet) boot during a wildland training exercise in the field.

NOTE: Fireman Jaks is an experienced snake handler — do not try this at home!

BIGGER+BADDER IS NOT NECESSARILY BETTER — In 2009, the San Diego rattlesnakes Jaks fire-fighting crew encountered got a little bigger.... DOWNLOAD HIGH-RESOLUTION ZOOLOGIST PHOTO.

In the USA 2009 BIA Wildland Fire and Aviation Academy at Sycuan, Jaks captured and released this large southern Pacific rattlesnake — a fire-fighter trainee was about to step beside it during a hectic hose lay up a badly eroded steep Southern California mountain trail.

FIREFIGHTER WEBSITE:

Welcome to Fire House Dragons!

We are a small private breeder of the Inland Bearded Dragons (Pogona Vitticeps). We purchased our first bearded dragon in 1999 from a local pet store and became fascinated by their docile demeanor and unlimitless potential.

Since then, we have carefully selected and purchased a few more dragons for our collection from various recognized breeders in the market today.

First and foremost, all of our animals are our pets and are given the best care and attention that they deserve. Bearded dragons are extremely docile, mild tempered creatures which make them great pets for adults and children.

The color morphs that we are specializing in are reds, oranges, hypos and transluscents. Keep in mind that there is more than one way to raise your bearded dragon.

Our caresheet is based on our research, experience and what has worked for us over the years. Please use it as a guide or reference to assist you.

Our mission is simple at Fire House, we strive for healthy, hardy dragons with customer satisfaction. We hope that we can provide you with the bearded dragon or information that you're looking for.

If you have any questions, please feel free to VISIT OUR WEB SITE and contact us — we will do our best to assist you with accurate facts and information and answer all your questions about these remarkable reptiles.

Thank you for visiting Firehouse Dragons.
